We recently blogged about our new hero, 'tough guy' Dave Murphy, and his forthcoming 24 hour solo cycle ride in Ireland in aid of FixCancer. Well, Dave has been busy, and recently received the support of 7 times Tour de France Winner Lance Armstrong. Lance is a patron of FixCancer, and sent his support to Dave from California where he recently crashed out of the Tour of California.
Moulding pain, sleep deprivation and a bare faced affront to the normal limits of human ability is usually the preserve of the British stag weekend, but Dave is a man with a bike and a mission, and one who is striving to help a lot of people with this herculean task.
